“Before I ever considered the idea of spittin’ raps as a career possibility, I used to do it as a hobby; purely for the fun and joy it brought to my life. The process was simple. The DJ would cut the instrumental by running a 4-bar loop over and over, and I’d proceed to do what I do. Fast forward to today’s very real circumstance and the actuality of a career in music can lead to some incredibly stressful, delirious, drive-you-all-the-way-crazy kind of nights in the studio. The clique and I were able to discover a therapeutic remedy for said nights. Take it back to the basics. My DJ and brother N.I.C cut me an instrumental and let me do what I do. The result is ‘Watch This’ over Rick Ross’ ‘3 Kings’ feat. Jay-Z and Dr. Dre. The result is #iconic.”-ICON
